A fire-stop is a fire protection system made of meet the tray.

the spread of fire by filling the openings with
fire-resistant materials.
There are a great variety of fire-stop barriers in
use, both in timber-frame and traditional block
inner leaf construction. However, the principle of
fitting the SureCav panels is straightforward:
1. Trim the SureCav panel horizontally or
vertically to meet the fire-stop material.
2. Trim the SureCav panel to the tray, if
installed.
