A fire-stop is a fire protection system made of meet the tray.
various components used to seal openings and
joints in fire-resistance rated wall or floor
assemblies. Fire-stops are designed to impede
the spread of fire by filling the openings with
         fire-resistant materials.
There are a great variety of fire-stop barriers in
use, both in timber-frame and traditional block
inner leaf construction. However, the principle of
fitting the SureCav panels is straightforward:

         1. Trim the SureCav panel horizontally or
vertically to meet the fire-stop material.

         2. Trim the SureCav panel to the tray, if
         installed.
All wall-ties must meet the approval of the
         structural engineer/Building Control
